    Student Centered Classroom Management Techniques 

    二、主講内容：

    As teachers, we can all agree that a well-managed class can make or break a lesson.  But how can we get students to that point?  This workshop will cover classroom management from a student centered perspective.  The topics to be covered include Student Centered Discipline, Student Centered Learning, The Teacher’s Role in a Student Centered Classroom, and The Role of Feedback in this environment.  Throughout the process of exploring these concepts, various activities and materials will be demonstrated in a metacognitive manner as workshop participants experience the methodology firsthand.

    三、主講人：Ian Stone

    Ian Stone specializes in academic ESL, having served as the Intensive English Program coordinator at Northern Virginia Community College. With nine years of experience in teaching and coordinating English programs for various levels and functions in the Washington D.C. area, Ian began teaching and training teachers in China in 2014. He possesses an M.A. in Intercultural Service Leadership and Management along with a graduate certificate in TESOL from The School of International Training (SIT) and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of New Mexico with a minor in Spanish. He served as a fellow at Liaoning University in Shenyang from 2014 to 2015, and is currently at Jilin University in Changchun.
