校内各教學單位：

  學校于2016年5月16日—6月3日期間開展“肯塔基、女王大學教學周”活動。屆時來自美國肯塔基大學、女王大學的八位教師将為我校本科生開設8門通識類課程。教師教學發展中心在“肯塔基、女王大學教學周”期間邀請三位教授為全校教師做兩期教學工作坊。現将第一期工作坊通知如下：

  一、工作坊主題

  主題1：Developing Innovative and Engaging Courses: Theory to Practice

  主講人1：Rita Basuray

Last year the teacher introduced the concept of Team Based Learning (TBL) and donated a book on this subject to the JLU Library. Using TBL as a guide, the workshop will explain how innovative courses can be developed to enhance student engagement. The workshop will also provide practical examples of teaching and learning, all of which can be applied to unique in-class courses in multiple disciplines, from the humanities to the sciences.

  主題2：Innovation and Entrepreneurship within an Engineering Program

  主講人2：Shahram Yousefi

In this workshop, we discuss how a successful engineering curriculum can be designed to provide opportunities to foster innovation and entrepreneurship at no cost to the technical content.

We consider foundational training for entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, and social entrepreneurship where students learn to be engineers, managers and entrepreneurs all at the same time. The learn how to fail and how to build "anti-fragile" organisms to add harmony and generate wealth.
